Review
Take the hooks of The Back horn, add the emotion of Eastern Youth and a husky-voiced singer and what do you have? Masurawo Commissioner (or MSRW Commissioner for short), one of the most interesting sounding active bands today. While feeling drips from their every note, don't be off-put, this is no lame emo band.

Kizuna Tobu is their latest maxi single, and from what I've heard of their earlier work, the strongest yet. The titular song sets the tone for the single, dropping straight into a catchy-sounding, moderate-paced number, and with plenty of feeling (especially in the chorus), it's clear the singer is really giving it his all.

Next up is "Sukuwarenai Shounen" picking up the pace a little bit with its funkier riffs. The singer demonstrates the power of his voice in this song in particular. The way it comes across so forcefully is really enjoyable, as if the vocalist of Sambomaster had a deeper, Eastern Youth-influenced voice.

Finally is the longest track on the single, "Wakamono," which weighs in at 5:44, starts with the sound of a marching drummer and a slightly melancholy tune up until around the 50-second mark where the main song kicks in. This song is just a little slower than the other two tracks, but maintains the very same passionate vocals. Despite being slightly longer than the preceding numbers, it never becomes boring.

For me this is a Triple A-Side. I really can't pick out a favorite track as they all rock so damn hard. If only all singles were this good.
