WiTHMYFOOT released their newest album 3 times a week in October and toured the Pacific Northwest, USA, in November 2005. Keikaku talked with WiTHMYFOOT members Ara [Guitar], Beatman [Bass, Chorus] and Captain [Drums, Chorus] about the tour and their overseas fans. back to features		WiTHMYFOOT First, could you tell me your names? ARA (SHOGA) - Vocal, Guitar BEATMAN - Bass, Chorus CAPTAIN - Drums, Chorus Who are the members of WiTHMYFOOT, what instruments and brands do they play? Ara uses a Gibson RD Standard and a Marshall amp Beatman uses a Thunderbird and EBS amp Captain uses a Pearl snare and Tama sticks WiTHMYFOOT toured the USA in November 2005, what was your favorite part if the tour? What's your favorite song to play live? How does American Audiences differ from Japanese audiences? Favorite Things: Ara: Sleeping. Beatman: Shopping. Captain: Talking, Saying "nice pooper!!!", eating fried chicken. Favorite Songs: Tell Me, Tell Me. Differences from Japan: Americans get more excited, and get pumped up more easily at shows. "WiTHMYFOOT" is an interesting name, does it have any special significance? There's no meaning. We just picked it for the sound. We eventually picked by drawing straws. What bands are you inspired by, and why? Ara: The Wildhearts, I like everything. Beatman: Everclear, I like the melodies. Captain: Alkaline Trio, I like the melodies, the atmosphere, and the drumming. What album is in your cd player right now? Ara: Ginger Beatman: Madonna Captain: Alkaline trio How did the members come together as WiTHMYFOOT? We were in the same class in middle school, and formed the band then. What was going through your head the first time you played live? Our first show was during our high school school festival, and I thought we played well. On October 19th, 2005, you released the mini album 3 times a week. In comparison to your earlier work WiTHMYFOOT, how has the recording process changed between the albums? What are your favorite songs from 3 times a week? Everything changed. Favorite tracks: More than be with you, Sha-na-na, Empty pocket. Do you want to say anything to your overseas fans? We love you!
