Hello all, this is my first blog post. Let’s see how long and epic (and pointless) I make my posts.

So apparently Sparta Locals made their next album, Maboroshi Forever, in just a few short months WHILE they were touring. For the last few years they’ve been consistently pumping out albums, so it really shouldn’t have been a surprise, but they had lost their drummer. (The Mo’Some Tonebender drummer, Isama Fujita, is apparently appearing on the album as “guest drummer.”)
Most fans seem to believe that their last two albums, Dreamer and the self-titled, come nowhere near the awesome that is Second Fanfare and Sun Sun Sun (to a slightly lesser extent). Will this one be the one that starts going back uphill? If we follow the trend of how good their album art is, the answer is “yes.”
Polysics have a new album coming out this week. Based on the singles (check out the PVs… there are links to them in the Polysics thread in the forum), it sounds much more poppy and slower than what you’d expect from them. They actually pull it off though. I guess I shouldn’t be too surprised, since they’ve pulled off songs (”My Room”) like that before.
That’s it for my first post. The end.

Yeah, I’m really anxious to hear this Sparta Locals album. I want it to be good so badly. But, if it isn’t…. that’d make it three weak albums in a row….. I’ll be very sad. I honestly think “Sun Sun Sun” was their best full length album, followed closely by “Second Fanfare”…. but I think their best work was actually the “Yume Station” single.
Up until “Dreamer” I really feel their work was undergoing a constant evolution, and that they became more impressive which each release. Both songs on that single (”Yume Station” and “Sugar”) absolutely blew my mind, and still do. And they fit into this logical progression of the band. I assumed that “Dreamer” would follow similar song writing patterns… retaining some aspects of their work on “Sun Sun Sun”, but expanding and reworking it into this ridiculously sweet, fresh and amazing, if somewhat more conventional, pop sound. And then I was incredibly disappointed.
I’m certainly not holding out for anything great anymore, but I do hope this is slight return to form at the very least.

some may say that this album was very bad in my opinion i found IdOl and maboroshiFOREVER amazing,it’s like “rock&honey”and “yumestation”,i give the album a O.K,and like Zedd said,3 albums in a row is too much, guess will have to wait another months and give them a chance to pop out another single or album to clear things up
